What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a state of heightened focus and is sometimes called a trance like state. We all experience this natural state in everyday life, sometimes called ‘flow’, like being absorbed in a book or driving along the highway, forgetting our surroundings. This state is a vehicle to deliver a purposeful, clear message to your subconscious mind.
What can I expect in my initial treatment?
We will briefly go through the intake form and clarify the hypnotherapy treatment. This is followed by strategic questioning to understand the root of your issue and which processes need interrupting. During the hypnosis session, you can relax and listen while in a comfortable state of heightened awareness and openness to changing your patterns. You will be aware and in full control during the entirety of the session. At the conclusion of the treatment, we will debrief and set consolidation exercises to strengthen the positive changes and embed them within your everyday life. 
Can anyone be hypnotised?
Yes, anyone can be hypnotised if they choose to and it can vary to what depth but this isn’t important for the change that will occur.
Hypnosis vs Meditation
Meditation and hypnosis, are very similar, you reach a calm, focused and creative state of mind in both, just while in hypnosis, you add a purpose to it as well.
Is online as effective as face to face therapy?
Yes, online therapy is effective and it gives you the comfort of your own home as a bonus. Some clients prefer the face to face setting as it helps them feel a clear distinction between treatment space and home, but an online setting can be useful and just as powerful.
What is Strategic Psychotherapy?
Strategic Psychotherapy is a brief and solution focused Psychotherapy achieving results quickly by solving the root of the issue, how it is created and creating an interruption.
What is NLP?
Neuro Linguistic Programming is the most useful way of connecting neural (nerve connections), language (our self-talk) and thought processes (unconscious patterns we run on autopilot in the background). By combining NLP techniques with Hypnotherapy you create new positive ways to think and behave.
What can Clinical Hypnotherapy treat?
Wherever the mind is involved, Clinical Hypnotherapy can treat anything. This includes stress, low self-esteem, performance anxiety, school anxiety, parenting anxiety, fears, insomnia, pain management, procrastination, weight loss, postnatal depression, addictions, speech challenges and much more.
How many sessions are recommended?
In general 6-8 sessions are recommended but depend on each individual. We’ll determine this during your initial session. Our aim is that you not only ‘feel better’ but also ‘do’ better. Most people find that they ‘do much better’ already after their first session.
Is Hypnotherapy covered by private health insurance?
Several private health funds do cover hypnotherapy, but you need to check with your fund first if you’re covered.
How much does a session cost or are there packages?
Hypnotherapy, Strategic Psychotherapy and NLP can be purchased as follows:

Initial session $ 270 / 90 minutes, Single Session $ 180 / 60 minutes, Pack of 4  $ 700* / 4 x 60 minutes and  Pack of 6 $ 990* / 6 x 60 minutes. *All Packs must be used within 6 months.

Is a combination session with Craniosacral therapy, Reflexology or other modalities available?
Yes, a combination with Craniosacral therapy, Reflexology or any of my other tools is possible. 

We’ll discuss what’s best for you at the initial session.
